  • This is awesome!

  • I don’t particularly care for this image. The girl is too young to be posed in such a way. I appreciate the composition, color, etc., but you should have either used someone older or covered her with some of those leaves there are som many of.

  • Red,

The nude body is a centerpiece for discussion in the art world. As such, support, discussion, appreciation, enthusiasm, even collection thereof is usually done by those who truly understand it. That’s why it’s called the Fine Arts. I understand your shock as you probably are not really attuned to this form of art. But I respectfully disagree that this artwork should be removed simply because it has a nude child in it. We are all born naked. This is the primary reason for the nude art form as it celebrates our uniqeness and fragility as human beings. The image of a nude child has only become”evil” due to the insistent demands of traditional politicians, conservative sectors, religious zealots, anti-child porn propagandists, etc. The truth is, our society is usually bombarded by the narrow-close-minded views of sexually guilty parties who mask out every opportunity to understand the real meaning of life.

Why do we reprimand a young child for having sexual feelings when these feelings naturally come out at puberty? Wouldn’t it be more logical to assume that there is really no predetermined age at which we are supposed to think about sex? If you disagree, then you are probably saying this is all God’s fault?

See? The discussion keeps going on and on. Discussion is good. Presentation of Art in any form is good because it creates wise discussion which eventually leads us to the Truth. The only evil I see in this post is the fear that we feel when face-to-face with something we do not truly comprehend. (Which is why we have Art – to home in to full understanding).

When the ugly face of misunderstanding comes out, the barbaric nature in us tells us to grab the nearest thing we do understand and throw it at the object of disinterest. It’s like seeing a pixie fairy for the first time and you shoot it with your gun – because you don’t understand the nature of the pixie but you understand your gun very well. The wise move would be to keep away and observe from a distance then move in slowly to understand.

This i suggest to you. Let the artists of this genre do their thing. If you don’t agree, then observe them from a distance. If you want to know more about this genre, then learn how to make your own. Only then will you understand
