whew anila! art or politics? hmm, first i was gonna say easy and then i remembered einsten, "The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science..." and "All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree..." oh well, i'd like to think that innately we'd be drawn to art first not politics not even sure politics falls under "science".
AWESOME post! cannot believe how cool to see them all lined up like that! thus far beautiful site/thoughtful posts....

With the Change manifesto it made sense to break the mould a bit. Politics influenced art direction. But we humans perceive the logo of a dawn breaking a new era as a symbol for change and therefore are the agents that imbue it with meaning. In that respect all design is directed by preexisting suppositions as to what certain images convey... such that the speech bubble idea was a little too 'out of the box'...

Hmm chicken or the egg...art or politics? :D
